On September 22, 2022, Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg spent his morning with representatives of five major Jewish organizations in New York: (1) Anti-Defamation League (ADL), (2) B’nai B’rith International, (3) Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations (CoP), (4) National Coalition supporting Eurasian Jewry (NCSEJ), and (5) World Jewish Congress (WJC). The meeting took place at the Austrian Consulate in New York; the discussion focused on the war in Ukraine, Jewish refugees, and the transatlantic relationship. Foreign Minister Schallenberg also met seperately with the American Jewish Committee and with Ronald Lauder, the president of the World Jewish Congress.
